This document, containing equations relating to colour spaces and colour transforms, is presented as an alternative to David Bourgin's ColorSpaces FAQ. Both of the principle authors of this document have contibuted extensivly to the ColorSpaces FAQ but have become unhappy at the errors it contained and its maintainers unwillingness to correct them. We recommend that this document is read in conjunction with Charles Poynton's documents, GammaFAQ.pdf and ColorFAQ.pdf for a more complete introduction to colour systems.
